Bring your sewing machine (or book one of ours) or handstitching, to this inclusive and open community session and make friends whilst improving your sewing.
You'll get a seasonal herbal infusion or a lite cocktail, while giving your machine a some love and care.
Bring your machine, power lead and pedal, and check that's working.
Bring the manual - you can find them online if you don't have it. Also get a pack of new needles.
We can supply threads, hoops and other kit, but please bring along your own fabric scissors, if you can.
We’ve lots of books to inspire and guide you.
There’s a large cutting/print table and a dedicated sewing machine area.
Use your fabric stash or unwanted (washed!) clothes or bedding to make great new things for you and give personal, ecologically good gifts to others.
Mend, personalise and alter clothes, or making new with up-cycled fabrics.
