Workshop day

We’ve a wealth of fibre and colour based processes to share: learn the basics of ink making, dyeing and printing, through to more advanced in depth processes. make up a small group and have a day at Friperie in Cardiff.
One to one sessions are particularly helpful as a really good introduction or for more specialist techniques.

We work with diverse communities - students, enthusiasts to professional designers, nursery up to BTEC/diploma, degree and post graduates; professional and community courses, team building and teachers CPD. Cat has over 20 years experience of teaching and lecturing on textile, surface pattern, print and general visual art techniques, and is comfortable teaching in a variety of settings.
Friperie workshop is in central Cardiff, 5 minutes walk from Cardiff Central station.
A day is usually 10.30 - 4pm. All specialist materials and tools are provided, though it's nice to bring your own kit for sewing/drawing and your own special cloth if you have some, though Friperie is a den of recycled materials.
